allraces2.jpgAlthough our base is evangelical Friends, our objective is to recruit, encourage and support evangelical church workers across denominational lines--pastors, leaders, teachers--specifically to build God’s church through evangelism. We want to help people who do not have academic credentials, certificate or diploma and further prepare them to serve the Lord with tools necessary to accomplish their ministries. Since the courses for the BARCLAY Certificate of Ministry are accredited, students may also continue studies in accredited schools.

Students who complete the Certificate in Bible and Ministry / Certificado en Biblia y Ministerio curriculum will:

1. Understand the need for, meaning, and practice of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

2. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Bible and essential Christian doctrine, the ability to accurately interpret Scripture, and an increasingly coherent Christian worldview that enables them to apply biblical principles to questions of ethics, compassion, and all other life situations.

3. Develop the skills and understanding necessary for personal Bible study, prayer, and devotional life which can sustain and empower one’s personal life and ministry to others.

4. Demonstrate a basic level of knowledge of the pastor’s role in encouraging, supporting, and ministering to members of local church congregations.
