 Latin American Center for Theological Studies is an initiative under the auspices of the Northwest evangelical Hispanic Friends churches using in this first stage Barclay College On-line. The courses offered by Barclay College are accredited. The fifteen-unit certificate program, permits students to study in either Spanish or English, writing their assignments in either language. The certificate program operates as a cohort model, permitting students to study individually on-line, and LACTS encouraging and providing these students with opportunities to meet together twice a month for cross referencing and tutorial help.
 The certificate format is designed to allow students to complete the program in 15 months with Barclay College credit. Tuition is $150 per unit, and interested prospective students should inquire about available scholarships.
